Our Vision
Dear Friends,
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued
prayer and support of our family and Praise Church. In addition, we want
to update you on the current status and progress being made since
Hurricane Katrina destroyed our church and home August 29, 2005.
We have been on a journey. At times we have experienced pain, confusion
and loss, but throughout it all, God has been there for us, blessing us,
making provision, meeting our needs and opening doors for us. He has
been faithful!
Our journey began with us living in El Dorado, Arkansas in a house
provided by our dear friends, John and Susan Lowery. After a few months
passed, Pastors Mike and Zena Fields generously offered us a home in
Vicksburg, Mississippi. We have been so grateful for the godly friends
the Lord has placed in our lives as divine connections and
relationships.
Since Katrina, we have traveled extensively around the nation preaching
in churches that graciously opened their doors and hearts to us. As we
ministered in these locations, we have been working to raise financial
support to offset the expenses of our church and ministry.
Because of our burning desire to continue to reach out to the Metro New
Orleans area, we began renting facilities to conduct services there in
October 2005. Initially we conducted one service monthly, then we
increased this to two, then three. (Some months we have been able to
conduct 4 services.)
God enabled us to host a marvelous Christmas Celebration in December,
giving away toys, food, Bibles, linens, etc.
Easter 2006 was our first “Sunday morning worship service” in the Metro
New Orleans area post-Katrina. We rented a hotel ballroom to conduct
this service and have been hosting one monthly since that time.
Initially our plans had been to open a disaster relief center on our
church property in New Orleans, however as we received information
regarding the stipulations the city was going to impose upon us, we felt
checked in our spirits regarding putting a lot of money into a
rebuilding project for a facility that we would not be able to use for
the long-haul. Thus, we have put the church property up for sale and in
the meantime we are renting facilities in which to conduct local
services.
At the same time, we are following the Lord’s leading by continuing to
travel in ministry and raise funds to rebuild our local ministry. New
Orleans is in desperate need of ministry and encouragement.
In answer to our prayers, God has made it possible for us to move back
to Louisiana. We are very excited about this move, because now we will
be able to provide additional ministry to the Metro New Orleans area. We
are now located only 40 minutes from our home in Kenner, which is still
under renovations. Now it will only take us 40 minutes to commute to
church, as opposed to the 4 hours we have been driving “one way” to
conduct ministry in the New Orleans area.
God is so faithful. And we are so grateful to each of you for your
encouragement and prayerful support. Please continue to pray for us. We
seek God’s wisdom and supernatural intervention for finances to sustain
this ongoing ministry. We have a long and vast task ahead of us, as we
continue to fulfill His call upon our lives by virtually “pioneering”
ministry in the city we love and call home.

PROPHECIES REGARDING NEW ORLEANS
We
have received so many letters expressing your concern for our city of
New Orleans. Thank you for your concern and willingness to help. In
this letter we would like to share our initial strategy re: how we will
minister restoration to the inhabitants of our city.
First, we need to address some of the questions you have been asking:
We are the Bilbos of whom Prophet Kim Clement spoke.
April 14, 2005 in Hendersonville, Tennessee, Prophet Kim called Garland
to the stage at TBN and asked him to minister with him. He stated that
Garland was the Gatekeeper to the city of New Orleans.
July 22, 2005 in Humble, TX, Prophet Kim prophesied to Garland re: the
flood and hurricane which would bring revival.

multimedia page and download the audio file.
July 2000, we hosted a conference of the Generals of Intercession with
Mike and Cindy Jacobs, Chuck Pierce and Dutch Sheets. In that meeting
Cindy Jacobs prophesied in our church to us re: a Tsunami that would
come - a great wall of water and would cause destuction and then bring
forth revival.
In 1990 Prophet Johnny Barham prophesied a flood to us, as well.
In recent days we have all been hearing of and reading prophecies from
numerous individuals who God showed that there was a flood coming which
would bring repentance and cleansing and usher in a great revival.
Our family has labored in this city and committed ourselves to see such
a revival. This is the Season, and we are so grateful that you are
willing to assist us in this endeavor. |
